It’s not true that the political
conflict in Egypt is raged only with terrorist muslim brotherhood group…
actually, it includes other powers which some may think are far from the issue
of “religious reference” and “terrorism and armed groups”… I also think those
powers are badly hurt by ousting of muslim brotherhood rule and from the
decrease in the spread of their ideas, existence and effect over people… I also
think that what is happening in media in general and in satellite channels
owned by a group of businessmen in particular is part of that conflict raging
with the terrorist group!... How is this?
I believe every human activity,
especially in the economic and political circles, has to have an ethical cover
to protect it and to be used as a weapon against rivals, to win new supporters
and to neutralize others so that they don’t turn into rivals and to mislead
others too so that they don’t support the rivals…
Economic activities known in Egypt
since Infitah and which were wrongly and misleadingly named as heading towards
free economy, capitalism and even political liberalism … while they have
nothing to do with capitalism if we applied the standards that governed the
evolution and development of capitalism in the societies that adopted it in the
modern age; meaning two centuries and a half ago.
It wasn’t a mere coincidence that
setting off economic Infitah during Sadat’s rule era was synchronized with the
beginning of money-regime alliance to the extent of family matrimonial relations
like the sons of Uthman Ahmed Uthman and Abdel-Ghaffar’s family who married two
daughters of then-president Sadat… in the same time, religious movements in
universities were set free to do whatever they want while reconciliation
process with muslim brotherhood movement was going on… all these were not just
coincidence.
Because the path Egypt went through
afterwards and until the end of Mubarak’s rule and muslim brotherhood coming to
power affirms that coincidence had no role to play although it sometimes does…
this route affirms that Egypt was facing an alliance that included more than
one power… a ruling regime that lost its social legitimacy which was considered
its base since the republic era in the beginning of the fifties…
Another political orientation claiming
to represent the Islamic religious reference… other powers dominant in the international
and regional domains which in turn want to enable those powers claiming the
religious reference to come to power for many reasons; atop of them is the existence
of the Hebrew state that is based on Jewish religious reference too…
Also, an Egyptian capital most of it accumulated
out of corruption and organized looting of the country’s resources and to an
outrageous extent that the money smuggled outside Egypt in hard currency was
equal to what the country received of aids and loans after the victory of
October, 1973… not to mention the significance of foreign debt’s numbers and
those of the aids… meaning, we are facing a four-party alliance that included
the presidency at that time along with the government, what is called local
capitalism, muslim brotherhood and their likes and the foreign party as well.
We lived those days when local capital
controlled the ruling regime – presidency, parliament and government – and when
the money-muslim brotherhood dialogue was getting louder… that terrorist group
which didn’t hesitate to grant their blessings to the succession of rule to
Gamal Mubarak and to declare all that can make then-president; Mubarak, his
family and regime ruling figures rest assure to their malicious plan.
Those controlling the NDP didn’t
hesitate to give muslim brotherhood the chance to be the first political power
on the other side representing opposition… mutual benefit gathered both of them…
as muslim brotherhood, along with their ideology and movement, represented an
ethical cover for the capitalist nature of the NDP and all businessmen who
rushed to search in their families’ history to declare that their families have
long history in supporting muslim brotherhood… on the other side, the regime
and its capitalism represented an active domain for the economic and political
activities of muslim brotherhood…
Now, we can see that local capitalism –
which has nothing to do with the respected capitalism in old-capital societies –
has lost its ethical cover that justifies its huge profits like “nine tenths of
earning living lies in commerce”… “Religion does not prohibit profit but
prohibits anyone may harm private property or capitals”… etc.… That local
capitalism has also lost the power to break the current regime or practice any
pressure on it, especially the presidency… it also lost the supporting role
played by the international society, atop of it the USA… that’s why this
so-called capitalism abstains from participating in development plans and any
mega projects…
We can also see its endeavor, through
the media outlets, media men and journalists they own and control, to broadcast
and spread all that can mislead people and take their attention away from the
big issues that are connected to their existence and social composition…
instead, they focus on sex, genies, rumors, scandals, negative things and many
other things that turn the whole picture into dark black…
Right now, we are witnessing a fierce
battling running between such corrupted capitalism and the regime… even the
whole state if we considered that this capitalism is fighting the people as
well… the people who proved to have a deep awareness of the dangers faced by
our country, and that’s why they rushed to fund the project of the Second Suez
Canal.. and before that, they rushed to oust muslim brotherhood, elect
president Sisi and say yes to the new constitution… Those people who have
proved again and again to be more vigilant when they didn’t rush to participate
in the parliamentary elections because they realized it’s the only place left
for such corrupted capitalism to control the legislation process and the whole
country…
Media corruption is the most daring
face of that capitalism corruption… that’s why I believe it’s not a battle
running between the presidency or the president and such corruption… however,
it’s the whole nation’s battle against corruption, vulgarism and on-going-process
of deceiving people….
I’m one of those believing that vulgarism
of those criticizing the regime and fishing in troubled waters for the president
and officials in charge are the same like those hypocrites and imposters
claiming to support the regime while we know very well they are willing to do
anything to win the consent of those in power regardless who they are. We should
not let go of such very important issue because those hypocrites are tools used
by such corrupted capitalism to undermine the regime through depriving it from
seeing its own mistakes and thus collapse fast… it’s the same target on both
sides.
I believe that local capitalism will
not stop to regain its ethical cover claiming fake religious reference because
they have never and will never be able to have one that is based on renaissance
ideas, civilization basics, natural law and justice rules… like the case in western
capitalism.
