Regarding what Huda Abdel-Nasser wrote

Those who participated in June 30 revolution, stood against muslim brotherhood long before that and went into the street to support this revolution and stood in the side of president Sisi and the Egyptian army shall start forming groups or spots nationwide to organize a political party holding the name of this revolution and seeking to achieve its goals…

In my opinion, this is the answer to the serious questions asked by Dr. Huda Gamal Abdel-Nasser in her article titled “what are we waiting for?” published in Al Ahram newspaper on October 15, 2016.

This answer is not out of my mind… however, I got from a phrase Dr. Huda mentioned in her article pointing to what happened in France at the beginning of the fifth republic headed by De Gaulle… and how the republic’s supporters started to form the “Union for the republic” party without having president De Gaulle at the head of that party or even as a working member in it.

I realize the difficulty or even impossibility of literally repeating historical experiments because it goes against what some history philosophers call “consequence”… but I believe that getting out of history has a main essential cause; that is not learning history lessons and not reading them carefully and consciously.

In such context, Dr. Huda represented a very important document; that is what president Nasser said when he presented an accurate analysis for a pivotal era of our nation’s history and the experiment of July 23rd, 1952 revolution… he also presented his vision for how to respond to the very complicated domestic, regional and international challenges that, away from exaggeration, is almost identical to our present-time challenges… such document has its own value itself, especially for history scholars and philosophers… but its greatest value lie in making use of it on the current Egyptian political level…

I go back to what I called for when I said that Egyptian nationals; supporters of June 30 revolution shall start establishing the revolution party… I also suggest that the beginning should be a series of planned discussions among all cadres who see themselves wanting and capable of working over such experiment… so that a working program with time schedule and objective contexts can result from such discussions to do the mission.

However, I believe that the most important task in my opinion is interpreting the awareness of all those cadres of the reality of the current Egyptian political movement… meaning since the success of January 25 revolution… because it’s a reality full of undeniable positivity and other negative aspects blocking the way before any effort exerted to come out of the current political work crisis.

My evidence here – that may look pessimistic – is my reading for the reality of all political parties existing right now in Egypt… starting from the communist far Left, passing by the Nasserite Arab-national Left and reaching to the capitalist far Right… such reading reveals clearly the political diseases spread in all those political orientations along with its groups… as if those working in those political groups have adopted the same mechanism of those aiming at dismantling our nation and turning our national fundamentals into illusions.

Here, I think that as we have learnt a historical lesson; that is the difficulty of establishing a political party or group coming from the top authority… we also learn a contemporary political lesson; that is the difficulty to establish a political party or group that is not immune against the endemic diseases spread in our political environment.

Someone may say that this initiative already exist and represented by the group or coalition of “Da’am Masr” or “Supporting Egypt”… and that those belonging to this coalition are supporters of June 30 revolution and are close to its principles… and since they occupy parliamentary positions, they are closer to achieve its goals…

I’m not about to give my opinion of such coalition or its prominent leaders that it happened I know some of them and we have mutual respect… however, what I’m about to do and ask everyone else to consider and work hard to achieve is to come up with a political formula having an organizational frame combining between liquidity that should exist in any political orientation and discipline that should also exist in any political form; whether party or organization… here, we shall talk about an intellectual social economic political context that spreads along all Land of Egypt and that is not limited to a specific mission with a time schedule which is the membership of parliament and legislation authority.

And even if “Supporting Egypt” coalition is in the opinion of its founders and members a representation of June 30 revolution… that shall exceed boundaries of legislative parliamentary mission to broader scopes… meaning as broader as Egypt… and so the suggested new formation shall widen the circle of its membership to include all who are convinced that the way to face the standing challenges is the unity for June 30 republic.

On another side, the experiment and also logic make us wonder about the role of the president regarding what we are talking about… because the man always assures he is just an “individual… an ordinary citizen… like the rest of people… and that he is not a leader…etc.”… however, our reality assures that Sisi is an ordinary citizen… but in the same time, he represents the historical individual and I won’t say “the heroic leader”… I here mean by the historical individual, the citizen that historical circumstances sent him to his nation to bear himself the burden, task and role that no one else can bear… and in a way that necessitate we shall participate with him in bearing such responsibility.

In my opinion, the president role in the suggested political formation shall be the role of the Maestro in the working team… that one who knows the task of every member in his team… starting from tasks of the three authorities and separating between them… and ending by the role of the rest of other national institutions like syndicates, organizations and national efficient figures… It’s even certain that the president already has a formation, even in the form of working teams or cells like those of crises management and project execution… or we wouldn’t have witnessed such magnificent harmony in achieving what was already achieved or under construction in more than one place.

The question now: will those specialized “cells” along with the youth who were qualified for leadership and who became many hundreds or thousands be the infrastructure for that formation that became a necessity and we have been long waiting for?... These were just some questions wandering in the mind of those burdened by the nation’s problems.
