History has hell too

It is very important that we do not waste that support Egypt accumulated throughout the last two or three years on the level of Arab and international relations… such accumulation of support would not have been achieved if it wasn’t for the decision maker and planning and executive entities like president Sisi, foreign affairs ministry, armed forces and general intelligence agency… I say this after I spent a few days abroad and had discussions with many of those enjoying elite political or cultural status.

There is a real support for Egypt in its political stances and measures which escalated to the level of launching military operations outside its territories… there is intention to go with Egypt to the last point… not only for its standing and role, but also because it is well realized now that the danger – or fire – has caught the Arab body especially in the Gulf area and Egypt is badly needed to unite in order to have the capacity to put such fire out and help protect against the recurring of such danger or even having it inactive… especially that the Egyptian army enjoys specifications hard to find in other armies.

Controversy over what terrorism is, its sources, forms, distribution and sponsors is now settled… such agreement over these issues came compatible with the Egyptian policy… and perhaps the current stance of the role of the Qatari authorities and their practices affirms that what Egypt have been warning against and complaining of was right… moreover, there is clear opposition by countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE towards what Qatar is doing…

I would have been interested in analyzing the essence of the Gulf-area Arab political and media discourse if we weren’t short of time… I believe such discourse has excelled over its Egyptian counterpart either quantitatively or qualitatively… I also believe it is more distinguished because it does not adopt the style of triviality, crossfire political accusations and involving personal matters… it also focuses on the objective aspects politically and security wise.

Until now, there are some cracks in the domestic Qatari composition that came to the surface but no one knows how vast and deep those cracks are… also no one knows how effective they are over those who rule there… those whom one cannot find a single logical explanation for their orientations and enorm practices unless someone can exert enough effort to find out the dimensions of the role of someone like Hamad bin Jassem who is said to be the engineer of the coup that toppled the former ruler; grandfather of the current one… such role is really noticeable regarding the impudence of bin Jassem who did not hesitate to use verbal slander… also his quick jumps in political relations encroaching on the Arab and Islamic fundamentals including the relation with the Israeli enemy… in such regard, there is a lot to say.

Back to the support I talked about, here I would like to state a point that came to my notice; that is the absence of any effective role by the political powers and Egyptian elite bunch in accumulating any positivity that may add to what the state institutions did and accumulated; the presidency, foreign affairs ministry, armed forces and intelligence… I may also say that some of those political powers and figures do not hesitate to undermine what was accomplished which sometimes may reach to destruction in a way or another…

Not only are they inactive, incompetent and keep talking gibberish over political oppression, individuality of decision making and marginalizing the role of parties… to the rest of the note that I think best describes them and I shall explain why… but also they adopted two ways in opposition… the first was undermining the strenuous Egyptian efforts exerted to build and regain the country’s history and role in its geographical circumstance and the whole world… second, defaming certain Arab countries that led in many times to unnecessary media and journalistic problems and fights.

We have not heard of an Egyptian political party… either from the ones with the old history in the political experience of parties since their second appearance in 1976… or from those newly-established ones that came to existence due to the struggles of their leaders pre and during January, 25th revolution… we have not heard of any of them taking the initiative of exerting a disciplined effort to communicate with organizations, associations or even social, scientific, intellectual and political figures in Arab countries or parties and organizations in regional and international countries in order to draw up agendas of collective work that help protect the relations between the Egyptian people and peoples of those countries so that they do not become limited to the present time circumstances and volatility of ruling authorities.

We have not also noticed any effort doing the same task exerted by elite Egyptian syndicates like that of the lawyers whose chief is heading the Arab Lawyers Union… or even syndicates of engineers, journalists, commercial professions, Labor Union and its syndicates… all these entities are important and they were always required to do their duty while the Egyptian nation and the Arab world are in extreme need of enormous efforts aiming at fighting terrorism in one side and facing the economic difficulties and social, cultural and intellectual fragmentation in another side.

It is not too late yet… since the same challenges are still standing, then adequate responses are still urgently required… I believe the gentlemen heading parties, syndicates and those in charge of organizations and associations are well educated, sophisticated and aware enough that history will not be merciful towards those who did not do their national duty as they should… and that history will throw in its hell those who were negligent or meant to destroy.
